Holiday guests can select from a range of apartments that will suit their needs. Each fully self-contained unit at the Pelican Sands Beachfront resort is complete and fully equipped with kitchen, laundry facilities as well as an ensuite. Our Gold Coast family apartments also provide air-conditioning in most apartments, ceiling fans, phone, Foxtel television, and Wifi-at a cost.. You can simply relax and unwind in your apartment and enjoy the spectacular ocean view from your very own private balcony.

Please note we are the closest accommodation to John Flynn Hospital. We have special rates on our standard 1 or 2 bedroom apartments for John Flynn families. Please get in touch for more information.

Deluxe Apartment

These 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartments are very comfortable, fully renovated units. Very spacious living areas with totally unobstructed beach/ocean front views. With an accessible lift to all floors, one of these apartments is very ‘accessible’ with both walk in showers, grab rails to shower and toilet. The other unit has a double size walk in shower in the ensuite and a shower over a tub in the second bath/laundry room with washer and dryer. They feature a fully self contained kitchen-all you need is your food!

Penthouse

The Penthouse apartment is set out on 2 levels; Upstairs has the master bedroom and off of it, a private sauna/shower on the spacious rooftop deck that is furnished. Downstairs has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, ensuite , full kitchen & laundry facilities, large balconies offering a stunning ocean views from all rooms from Snapper Rocks all the way to Surfers’ Paradise and out to Mount Warning. The Penthouse can accommodate a maximum of 5 people.

The family comes here for a holiday once every few years. The rooms have had an upgrade since we were here last. The furniture is nice, the rooms are spacious with great seaside views. The staff really care for us and we'll be back again in the future.

Location great! Stayed in 601 and the room smelt like off yogurt especially the curtains. Had to open up doors and was quite loud due to this. Bed kept collapsing as well. Had to rebuild it our selves. very cheap designs, and the beams were thin and were held by plastic pieces that had to be fixed several times. Location was very good though. U also need to pay to use the pool table equipment and the table tennis stuff.

The unit was dirty. Everywhere you put your hands was filthy. The T.V. only had 2 stations with full reception only on permanent channels the wanted to sell you product.We go to the Gold Coast in a 4 week cycle and wont bother these managers again.

Staying during the school holidays. Was brilliant. The apartment was very clean and had lovely views lots of services laundry powder washing powder included. Ample parking for those with large families would definitely stay again.

Perfect on the beach getaway. Fully furnished apartments, quiet,clean and comfortable. Views North to Gold Coast beaches and Coolangatta to the South. Leslie was a most helpful and friendly on site manager.

Absolutely breathtaking, you get views of the ocean from the front balcony and the hill's to the west from the back balcony. Rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. Airport right across the road so great for plane spotting.

Family stayed at pelican found the management unfriendly , unapproachable, the building looks rundown and neglected especially in the foyer on my level spa and sauna area looks rundown and neglected such a shame beautiful location

We stayed 4 nights at Pelican Sands Resort purely because it was close to John Flynn Hospital. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The rooms are newly renovated, spotlessly clean, spacious and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The resort is right on the beach, there is no road in between or trees/buildings blocking view. There is a lovely BBQ area on the beach, alongside a beautiful pool. As well as an in door plunge pool, spa, pool table and ping pong table for rainy/cold days. It’s is in a great location, walking distance to IGA and cafes. Away from all the hustle and bustle but still within a reasonable driving distance to Surfers Paradise etc if you wish to do the touristy thing. It is only a bit over 4km from Coolangatta which has some really beautiful restaurants and shops.I would definitely stay here again.

The view from our apartment was the most amazing view, straight direct to the ocean it was like having our own private beach!! No roads or other apartments in the way! The room was clean and had a lovely kitchen and cute little furnishings. Loved the spa bath in our bathroom. Would definitely come back.

Sitting in the penthouse, 2 hours before we were meant to check in, but were able to check in early, great service friendly people and definitely a place my family and I will return to many more times, and I've only been here. 2 hours lol ..
