What time is check-in and check-out?

Reception hours are:
Mon-Fri 8:30-12:00, 1:00-4:30pm
Sat. 8:30-11:30am
Sun CLOSED

Check in from 2pm (QLD), Check out is 9:30am.

Do you require a security bond upon check-in?

A valid credit card/ID or $200.00 cash deposit is required when checking in, refundable on departure after inspection.

Is after hours check-in available?

Yes, we leave your key in a safe at the front door. You may call earlier in the day for the code or get it from our after hours service on arrival.

Can I have a late check-out?

We are happy to offer a late checkout (1pm) when possible, for a nominal fee of $50 Please inquire with reception.

When do I have to pay a deposit?

A $300.00 deposit is required when booking is made.

General information about our location.

How close is Surfers Paradise & Broadbeach?

Surfers Paradise is about 35 minutes by car, 40 minutes by bus.

Are there shops or restaurants nearby?

There are a variety of restaurants at Tugun Village all highly recommended. Also Tugun Surf Life Saving Club is great for a family night out or for a play on the pokies. We are also close to Twin Towns Services Club which has great food and entertainment. Currumbin RSL is a relaxing lunch or dinner venue.

Is there public transport nearby?

There are bus stops north and south about 2 minutes walk.

What local attractions are in the area?

Currumbin wildlife Sanctuary walking distance or 3 minute car drive or public transport.
All the theme parks are easily accessible by car and public transport.

How close is Coolangatta?

Coolangatta is about a 5 to 10 minute bus ride.

Where can I buy groceries locally?

Tugun shopping centre is about a ten minute walk. It has a supermarket, green grocer, post office, chemist, doctors surgery and a variety of coffee shops and restaurants.

We always try and stay in apartment 602 as both the bedrooms and lounge have 180 degree views of the ocean, absolutely amazing!

A great place to stay, but fixtures and fittings are getting a bit worn and weary. 1/2 mile to nearest shops.

The family comes here for a holiday once every few years. The rooms have had an upgrade since we were here last. The furniture is nice, the rooms are spacious with great seaside views. The staff really care for us and we'll be back again in the future.

Location great! Stayed in 601 and the room smelt like off yogurt especially the curtains. Had to open up doors and was quite loud due to this. Bed kept collapsing as well. Had to rebuild it our selves. very cheap designs, and the beams were thin and were held by plastic pieces that had to be fixed several times. Location was very good though. U also need to pay to use the pool table equipment and the table tennis stuff.

The unit was dirty. Everywhere you put your hands was filthy. The T.V. only had 2 stations with full reception only on permanent channels the wanted to sell you product.We go to the Gold Coast in a 4 week cycle and wont bother these managers again.

Staying during the school holidays. Was brilliant. The apartment was very clean and had lovely views lots of services laundry powder washing powder included. Ample parking for those with large families would definitely stay again.

Perfect on the beach getaway. Fully furnished apartments, quiet,clean and comfortable. Views North to Gold Coast beaches and Coolangatta to the South. Leslie was a most helpful and friendly on site manager.

Great views, being right next to the beach. Close to the airport and reasonably priced. Bathroom had been recently renovated, but ensuite and kitchen quite dated and tired.

Absolutely breathtaking, you get views of the ocean from the front balcony and the hill's to the west from the back balcony. Rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. Airport right across the road so great for plane spotting.

Not at all accommodating when I was taken into hospital unexpectedly and unable to make my stay. Didn't even respond to an email request to see if we could reschedule. Thanks for your compassion, enjoy my money.

Family stayed at pelican found the management unfriendly , unapproachable, the building looks rundown and neglected especially in the foyer on my level spa and sauna area looks rundown and neglected such a shame beautiful location

We stayed 4 nights at Pelican Sands Resort purely because it was close to John Flynn Hospital. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The rooms are newly renovated, spotlessly clean, spacious and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The resort is right on the beach, there is no road in between or trees/buildings blocking view. There is a lovely BBQ area on the beach, alongside a beautiful pool. As well as an in door plunge pool, spa, pool table and ping pong table for rainy/cold days. It’s is in a great location, walking distance to IGA and cafes. Away from all the hustle and bustle but still within a reasonable driving distance to Surfers Paradise etc if you wish to do the touristy thing. It is only a bit over 4km from Coolangatta which has some really beautiful restaurants and shops.I would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful week stay at a unit with an absolutely breathtaking view of the ocean! Can’t wait to go back again. The staff is wonderful units are clean and well equipped and the price is extremely reasonable. Can’t beat Pelican Sands Resort.

The view from our apartment was the most amazing view, straight direct to the ocean it was like having our own private beach!! No roads or other apartments in the way! The room was clean and had a lovely kitchen and cute little furnishings. Loved the spa bath in our bathroom. Would definitely come back.

Sitting in the penthouse, 2 hours before we were meant to check in, but were able to check in early, great service friendly people and definitely a place my family and I will return to many more times, and I've only been here. 2 hours lol ..
